Since 1994, Advanced ID has provided secure, reliable and permanent radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions to the pet, aquaculture, laboratory and research industries. In 2004, Advanced ID began commercialization of its DataTRAC ultra high frequency (UHF) technology developed specifically to meet the needs of the agriculture and food safety industries. Advanced ID's years of expertise with UHF RFID are now being put to good use to address the unique challenges in the transportation and heavy construction industries. RFID Tire Tags and Patches are being embedded into the sidewalls of heavy duty truck tires for the purpose of combating theft and counterfeiting to improving maintenance and inventory control. Advanced ID's exclusive Reader and TireTRACS software systems closes the loop to capture, edit and manage your entire tire inventory.
Our tire tags offer programmable read/write capabilities at a radio frequency of 902-MHz to 928-MHz. The key advantages are:
- Multiple types to choose from: ISO 18000-b and EPC Gen2
- Broad memory range: 96/512 (bit) to 2048 (bit)
- Two types to choose from: tag can be embedded into the tire mold prior to the manufacture and curing process ; or the patch which can be easily adhered to the inside of the inside of the tire wall
- Suitable for a wide variety of purposes from combating theft and counterfeiting to improving maintenance and inventory control
- Compatible with Advanced ID's Readers or those compliant with ANSI INCITS 256-2001 and ISO 10374 standards
Our AVID® products utilize low frequency (125 KHz/134.2 KHz) RFID technology. The key advantages of our AVID® product line are:
- Simple injection procedure implants a microchip quickly and safely, without anesthesia.
- Largest pet recovery database in Canada with operators available 24/7, 365 days per year.
- Our reader formats include International Standards Organization (ISO), Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinarian Association (FECAVA) and AVIDs encrypted standard.
- AVID® products are patent protected.
- ISO 11784/11785 compliant.
Our DataTRAC products utilize ultra high frequency (UHF) (915 MHz) RFID technology. The key advantages of our UHF RFID technology versus low and high frequency products are:
- Significantly longer read ranges.
- Faster data rates, allowing for quicker tag to system throughput.
- Anti-collision feature allows multiple tags to be read for efficient processing or transportation of livestock.
- Unparalleled reliability in operating environments with high levels of electromechanical or electromagnetic interference.
- Cost effective.
- ISO 18000-6 compliant.
In addition to offering our UHF RFID tags and readers for truck tire and livestock identification, our TireTRACS and DataTRAC database management solutions provide the software necessary to manage tire and animal-specific data collected from all contact points including instant response to database queries.
