Pet owners:
If you are a pet owner who wants the added security of having your pet microchipped so that it will increase the possibility of it being safely returned to you should your pet go missing, please contact your veterinarian to discuss the procedure and fee involved. Registration on our 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, and 365 days-per-year recovery service is included in the implant procedure price. There are no subsequent annual fees and we do not sell your personal information to other companies. Address changes for the current registered owner on our database are free.

If a replacement collar tag is needed, the cost is $10.00 (GST and shipping included, $10.75 in NB, NS and NL). Collar tags must be ordered directly with our office. Please see “Order a Tag” under PETtrac Recovery System.

If a pet changes ownership, the one-time cost is $26.50 (GST included, $28.52 in NB, NS and NL). Change of ownership must be done directly with our office. Please see “Change of Ownership” under PETtrac Recovery System.

Veterinarians:
If you wish to place an order for a microchip scanner, please telephone our office directly as they are not distributed through the purchasing companies. Microchips can be ordered directly from the purchasing companies. They are sold in either a box of 5 or 25 and contain information brochures to distribute to your clients and brass collar tags to be assigned with the microchip that is implanted in the pet. All microchips sold to the purchasing companies are FECAVA and ISO (CKC and NCAC -approved ISO).

The product code for a box of 5 microchips is: 2128-5.
The product code for a box of 25 microchips is: 2128-25.

Breeders:
Breeders may purchase microchips directly from the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) at (416) 675-5511. The CKC currently only accepts ISO microchips. If breeders wish to purchase microchips directly from our company, with or without registration on our database, please telephone us to place your order. We can supply both ISO (CKC/NCAC-approved) and FECAVA microchips. Please see our payment and shipping policy below. Also, please see our “Breeders” section for more information.

Municipalities/Shelters:
Any Municipality, Shelter, SPCA, Humane Society or rescue organization can call our office directly to inquire about registering for an annual renewable agreement to implant and/or scan for microchipped animals that pass through their facility. Our Municipality/Shelter program is administered through our office by Marci Buckland. Please contact her for more details or please see the section entitled “Municipalities/Shelters”. Payment and Shipping Policy:

Payment for all orders is to be received in our office before orders will be shipped. We accept Visa or MasterCard for immediate payment or you may send us a cheque or money order to prepay for your order.
Once an order is received at our office, it is usually processed within 2 business days, and then shipped to the client via Express or Expedited Canada Post, which can be 2 to 6 additional business days, depending on your location.
Orders are processed and shipped on a first-come, first-serve basis. If a client wishes to have an order processed the same day, ahead of other scheduled orders, there will be a $15.00 rush fee added to the shipping cost.
